C3 AI Restructures Leadership to Boost Sales and Customer Success

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., August 08, 2025 — C3 AI (NYSE: AI), a leading provider of Enterprise AI application software, has completed a major reorganization of its global sales and services teams in the first quarter of 2025. This restructuring has brought in new leadership aimed at driving growth and improving customer engagement.

Key Leadership Appointments

  • Rob Schilling joins as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, effective June 16, 2025. Schilling brings a strong track record from Oracle and SAP, where he led billion-dollar cloud application businesses. He will oversee all sales and customer teams.
  • John Kitchingman steps in as General Manager for EMEA starting June 30, 2025. He previously served as SVP of Global Customer Engagement at Dassault Systèmes.
  • Jeff Cosseboom is appointed Group Vice President for North America East Sales. With over 30 years of experience, he has held leadership roles at Palladin Technologies and Salesforce-Vlocity.
  • Lars Farnstrom takes on the role of Group Vice President for the Nordics, bringing expertise from Crate.io and prior experience at C3 AI.
  • Alex Amato, a nine-year veteran at C3 AI, is promoted to Group Vice President of Customer Services. Reporting to Rob Schilling, Amato leads all professional services operations and has revamped the services organization to improve customer value.

CEO Perspective on the Restructuring

Thomas M. Siebel, Chairman and CEO of C3 AI, commented on the changes: “Our revamped sales and services organization, combined with new leadership, is set to accelerate growth and enhance customer success. While Q1 sales results were below expectations due to short-term disruption from the reorganization and my health issues, I’m optimistic about Q2 given the fresh leadership and strong market opportunities ahead.”

Siebel also shared that his health has improved, allowing him to take a more active role in sales moving forward. Meanwhile, C3 AI is actively searching for a new CEO to continue driving the company’s growth.
