The University of Delhi (DU) has launched a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud to provide students with practical skills in artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and digital literacy. This initiative offers students industry-recognised certifications, hackathons, mentorship, startup incubation support, and specialised workshops conducted by Google experts.

Registrar Dr Vikas Gupta highlighted that this collaboration supports the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by equipping students with skills relevant to today's job market. "Technology adoption is growing rapidly. DU has launched several courses aligned with NEP 2020, and this collaboration with Google Cloud will add immense value by offering students future-ready skills," he said.

Professor Balram Pani, Dean of Colleges, emphasised the mutual benefits of the partnership. "Delhi University is the number one university in the country. This collaboration will benefit both DU and Google."
