Deliverect launches AI agents to automate restaurant marketing, sales, and ops

December 10, 2025 - Deliverect rolled out an "AI Agent Library" that lets restaurants automate decisions across operations, marketing, and sales without building software in-house. The system plugs into Deliverect's platform and works with n8n's no-code engine, so teams can deploy and tweak agents that act on real-time order and CRM data.

This is a clear shift from simply connecting orders to actively managing workflows. "The restaurant industry is entering an age of intelligent automation," said Zhong Xu, co-founder and CEO of Deliverect. "We've already connected millions of orders through our platform, but now we're helping restaurants act on that data in real time."

How it works

The library launches with seven templates operators can clone and customize. Agents pull live signals from delivery partners and customer systems, then trigger actions without human intervention.

  • Order throttling: control kitchen load and prep times during peaks to protect service quality and ratings.
  • Menu optimization: adjust item placement, availability, and pricing experiments to lift digital sales.
  • Automated guest support: escalate tickets based on priority, spend level, or wait time.

Proof of impact: KFC Netherlands pilot

KFC Netherlands tested a "Dynamic Promotion Agent" for its Secret Box Meal campaign. Customers hunted for codes online; once a code was found, the agent generated and activated rewards inside the KFC app automatically.

The agent produced 1,000+ codes within hours and drove a 118% sales increase on the day of the campaign. "This was one of our fastest and most effective digital activations," said Oussama Badidi, digital director at KFC Netherlands. "Deliverect's AI agents allowed us to automate the entire promotion, from detection to delivery, creating a seamless experience for our guests while driving real business impact."

Why sales leaders should care

Real-time agents give you tighter control over demand, conversion, and guest value across channels. Less friction during rush, smarter promos when capacity allows, and faster resolution for high-value guests means higher conversion and fewer lost orders.

  • Protect revenue during peaks: throttle intelligently, avoid delivery delays and cancellations.
  • Boost digital conversion: A/B test item placement and pricing in aggregators and your app.
  • Run dynamic promos: trigger offers by segment, time of day, or capacity to drive profitable orders.
  • Save at-risk sales: auto-escalate VIP and high-churn signals to live support in minutes.
  • Scale playbooks: deploy rules across markets while localizing menus, prep times, and partner SLAs.

Deployment and security

The AI Agent Library is available now for Deliverect customers. It's built for enterprise rollouts with ISO-compliant governance, role-based access, and audit logs. Operators can deploy agents across multiple locations via Deliverect's APIs, use standard templates on a usage basis, or design bespoke agents for specific needs.

Deliverect reports coverage of 70,000+ locations globally and about 30 million API calls daily-useful signal for teams evaluating scale and reliability.

Questions to align with your team

  • Which KPIs will agents own this quarter? (Conversion rate, AOV, repeat rate, on-time delivery, NPS)
  • What signals should trigger actions? (Capacity, prep times, wait times, stock, guest segment, weather, location)
  • Which promos should be automated first, and which require approvals?
  • How will we handle exceptions and auditability across regions and franchisees?
  • What's our test cadence for menu optimization and promo fatigue control?

Next steps

  • Start with a single high-impact play: peak-hour throttling plus a capacity-aware promo.
  • Instrument targets and guardrails: set SLA thresholds and budget caps before launch.
  • Roll out to 2-3 pilot locations, then scale once you hit goal conversion and fulfillment metrics.

Resources

Bottom line: If you're accountable for revenue in restaurant or QSR, AI agents that act on real-time demand and guest data can move the numbers fast-without adding headcount. Start narrow, measure aggressively, then scale what works.
