Globant and Autodesk Tandem Partner to Expand Digital Twin Operations
Globant has been named an Autodesk Tandem Digital Twin Solution Provider, combining the software company's cloud platform with Globant's enterprise integration expertise to accelerate digital twin adoption across airports, manufacturing facilities, smart buildings, and logistics operations worldwide.
The partnership expands a 15-year collaboration between the companies. Globant will deliver implementation services, system integrations, and operational data enablement to help organizations deploy Autodesk Tandem's digital twin technology.
From Static Models to Real-Time Intelligence
The work centers on what Globant calls Physical AI-connecting real-world assets with intelligent operational systems. By linking design data with building management systems, organizations can move beyond static building information models to predictive, real-time asset intelligence.
This shift matters for operations teams. Instead of managing buildings or facilities based on design blueprints, you get live data feeding into decision-making systems. A facility manager can see equipment degradation before failure occurs, or optimize energy use based on actual occupancy patterns.
Globant's Digital Twins Practice will focus on manufacturing, logistics, smart venues and retail, energy and construction, and life sciences and healthcare. The company plans to complete multiple proof-of-concept deployments through 2026.
Market Demand Accelerating
The global digital twin market is projected to grow from $21.14 billion in 2025 to $149.81 billion by 2030, according to MarketsandMarkets research. That growth reflects enterprise adoption of connected, AI-enabled asset intelligence across multiple industries.
For operations professionals, this means digital twin technology is moving from niche use cases to mainstream deployment. The partnership positions both companies to capture that demand by integrating design data with live operational systems.
"The true value of a digital twin lies in the transition from a digital hub to a predictive engine," said Kevin Janzen, CEO of Globant's Gaming & EdTech AI Studio. "By combining Autodesk Tandem's visualization with Globant's integration expertise, we are setting a new operational standard for industries that, until now, couldn't fully harness the power of BIM technology."
What This Means for Operations Teams
Operations managers overseeing complex physical environments-airports, manufacturing plants, large facilities-now have access to implementation partners who can connect their existing systems to digital twin platforms. This removes the technical barrier that previously made digital twins difficult to deploy.
Hayli Hay, Director of Digital Twin Partnerships at Autodesk, said the partnership allows Tandem customers to "outsource twin building and twin connecting to a trusted partner" rather than building these capabilities in-house.
