Insurtech Intelligent AI Enters US Market With Connecticut Expansion

Insurtech firm Intelligent AI has expanded into the United States after securing a place in the Connecticut InsurTech Corridor, building on established operations in London. The move targets a persistent operational problem: incomplete submissions and fragmented property data that slow underwriting decisions.

Around 40-50% of insurance submissions arrive incomplete. Underwriters spend more than half their time tracking down missing information instead of assessing risk, according to the company's market analysis.

The problem compounds in large property portfolios. Inconsistent or outdated construction, occupancy, protection and exposure data creates pricing errors and exposure management gaps.

What Intelligent AI's Platform Does

The platform delivers structured COPE data - construction, occupancy, protection and exposure - alongside rebuild cost intelligence. It integrates into existing insurer workflows through an API-first, cloud-based setup without forcing teams to replace current systems.

The tool supports underwriting, claims and portfolio management. Its stated goals include improving submission quality, reducing underinsurance and strengthening catastrophe exposure analysis.

Anthony Peake, company leadership, said the US expansion follows directly from work already completed in London. Insurers who address data quality issues early gain access to better risks, improve loss ratios and build stronger portfolios, he said.

Market Context

The Connecticut InsurTech Corridor gives the company direct access to leading US carriers. The Hartford-New York-Boston region remains a central hub for commercial property and casualty insurance decisions.

Insurers across the sector are placing greater weight on data-driven underwriting as portfolio complexity rises and catastrophe exposure becomes harder to manage. Intelligent AI's expansion reflects this broader shift toward structured risk assessment at the point of underwriting.

The company is also participating in a Corridor industry event bringing together insurers, investors and insurtech firms across the region.
