Korcomptenz Expands India Operations with New AI Hub in Chennai

US-based IT firm Korcomptenz Inc. is broadening its footprint in India by launching an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Hub in Chennai. The new hub officially opened recently and will serve as a center for developing and demonstrating AI-powered solutions across multiple sectors including manufacturing, retail, banking, financial services, and healthcare.

Alongside the AI hub, Korcomptenz has established offices in both Chennai and Hyderabad. Clara D’Silva, President of Korcomptenz, confirmed these developments and highlighted the hub's role in presenting the company’s AI capabilities to industry clients.

Korcomptenz’s Presence and Ambitions in India

Currently, Korcomptenz employs around 350 people worldwide, with approximately 250 based in Chennai. The company works as a global partner with major platforms like Microsoft, SAP, and Salesforce. Its client portfolio includes notable names such as Dentsply Sirona, Berkshire Hathaway, Adfast, Napoleon, and Westlife Foodworld.

Prakash Anthony, CEO and Co-founder, emphasized that the AI hub is central to Korcomptenz’s growth plans in India. He shared targets to develop intellectual property and secure AI patents within the next 1-2 years. The company aims to double its turnover to $100 million in the near term, with projected revenues reaching $300 million over 3-4 years.

Services and Client Engagement

Christian Twiste, Chief Digital Officer, outlined the company’s client engagement areas, which include e-commerce, web content management, mobile apps, ERP implementation, support and audits, and infrastructure management. Korcomptenz also focuses on accelerating AI, analytics, and business insights for their customers.
