Kustomer Raises $30M to Enhance AI Customer Service Platform
August 7, 2025
Kustomer has secured $30 million in Series B funding to accelerate development of its AI-driven customer service platform. The funding round was led by Norwest, with participation from Battery Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, and Boldstart Ventures.
This investment will support Kustomer’s plans to scale its AI platform and meet increasing demand from businesses seeking smarter customer support solutions.
Building an AI-Native Customer Experience
Kustomer’s platform stands out by leveraging real-time data and deep contextual insights to orchestrate AI agents that assist both customers and support reps. Recently, the company introduced AI Agents for Reps and AI Agents for Customers, tools designed to boost agent productivity and resolve inquiries faster.
Unlike traditional systems that act mainly as data records, Kustomer’s platform functions as a system of action—helping brands modernize support workflows with improved transparency and personalized customer interactions.
The new capital injection will expand Kustomer’s AI roadmap, enhance its tools, and support growth in international markets.
Competitive Landscape and Leadership
Kustomer operates in a competitive space alongside platforms like Zendesk and Salesforce Service Cloud. To strengthen its position, Kustomer recently added Anna Fisher as Chief Marketing Officer. With prior experience at Salesforce and ZoomInfo, Fisher will lead global marketing efforts to grow Kustomer’s presence and deliver AI-native customer experiences to enterprises.
Other players offering similar customer engagement tools include Intercom.
