NEC's Agentic AI Now Builds Sales Proposals and Discussion Sheets-Fast
NEC has introduced a sales support solution that uses Agentic AI to turn meeting notes and proposal templates into customer-specific proposals and discussion sheets in one pass. It pulls from your company's past proposals and internal knowledge to produce consistent, high-quality materials without leaning on a single rep's experience.
Internal rollout starts November 2025 under NEC's "Client Zero" approach. Availability in Japan is planned for late March 2026.
What this means for sales teams
- Create proposals and a companion discussion sheet from meeting minutes and standard templates in minutes, not days.
- Make every proposal reflect what the customer actually talked about-challenges, goals, constraints, and next steps.
- Lift proposal quality across the team by reusing winning examples and internal playbooks automatically.
- Reduce prep time so reps can spend more hours with customers instead of documents.
How it works
- Agentic AI with orchestration: Two coordinated agent systems analyze meeting records, templates, and your organization's knowledge base to draft precise proposals and discussion sheets.
- Knowledge reuse: References past proposal docs, templates, and internal assets to keep messaging accurate, consistent, and on-brand.
- Beyond proposals: Can handle information-heavy tasks that need careful documentation, such as regulatory and compliance materials.
Integrates with your current stack
The solution ships as a software module that connects with existing sales support systems and follows your current information security policies. That means no major workflow changes-your CRM and processes stay intact, while proposal creation gets a serious speed boost.
Discussion sheets that move deals forward
Alongside the proposal, the system builds a discussion sheet that lists customer concerns, open questions, and items to confirm in future meetings. Use it to run tighter calls, set clear next steps, and keep momentum between touchpoints.
Where to use it first
- First-call to draft proposal: Convert initial meeting minutes into a clean draft with customer pain points, solution mapping, and clear next actions.
- Proposal updates: Feed new notes after a follow-up call and get refreshed slides and a revised discussion sheet.
- Compliance packs: Generate consistent documentation for regulated accounts without reinventing the wheel each time.
- Account transitions: New rep steps in, the system pulls history and produces a briefing with a ready-to-send update.
Availability and roadmap
- Internal validation: Starting November 2025 via "Client Zero."
- General availability (Japan): Late March 2026.
Why leaders will care
- Speed: Shorter cycle from discovery to proposal.
- Consistency: Standardized quality across territories and teams.
- Enablement: Faster ramp for new reps and clearer knowledge transfer.
- Customer experience: Proposals that reflect the conversation, not a generic template.
