Projectler Launches AI-Driven Platform to Streamline General Contractor Operations

Projectler, a construction tech company based in Los Angeles, has unveiled its new AI-powered platform created specifically for general contractors. This platform combines lead generation and project management in one system, tackling a longstanding industry issue: contractors often have to choose between finding new business or managing ongoing projects.

The construction industry, valued at $1.8 trillion and encompassing over 3 million general contractors across the U.S., has long relied on separate tools. Some focus solely on lead generation without project management, while others offer project management but assume contractors can consistently generate leads on their own.

Solving the Cycle of Feast or Famine

Joseph Fine, Co-Founder of Projectler, explains the problem clearly: "Contractors face two major challenges that create a continuous cycle of feast or famine. Contracts end, so they must keep sourcing new jobs. When they focus on acquiring new business, operations suffer. When they focus on running jobs, leads dry up."

Projectler’s platform addresses both sides simultaneously, allowing contractors to maintain steady workflows without sacrificing either new business or project execution.

Leadership with Industry and Tech Expertise

  • David Hirsch: Co-founder of 1800Remodel, with deep experience generating over 250,000 leads monthly and partnerships with Fortune 500 companies.
  • Joseph Fine: Hands-on construction background, managing hundreds of projects and overseeing training for over 1,000 employees.
  • Gladys Fung: CFO with extensive financial leadership in tech companies, ensuring strong operational structure.

This combination of construction knowledge and technology expertise fuels Projectler’s approach.

How the Platform Works

Projectler’s AI analyzes millions of data points—like permit filings, home sales trends, and construction intent signals—to automate lead generation. It runs targeted campaigns via email, social media, direct mail, and phone calls to identify and verify interested homeowners, then connects them with local contractors.

On the project management side, the platform can generate detailed estimates in seconds by processing architectural plans, structural drawings, and specifications. Users upload thousands of pages of documents, and the AI delivers comprehensive Excel spreadsheets with hundreds of line items, including pricing based on local market rates or contractor-specific costs.

The platform also integrates with popular tools such as QuickBooks, Zapier, and Make.com through API connections, fitting smoothly into existing contractor workflows.

Looking Ahead

Joseph Fine describes the vision: "We want general contractors to focus on what matters most while our platform handles sourcing clients, selling, managing jobs, and completing projects."

Since launching its beta program, Projectler has signed over 50 general contractors across multiple states. The platform has managed more than $100 million in construction projects and tracked over 100 active jobs. The company aims to grow to 500 active contractor clients and move to full public release by the end of 2025.
