ServiceNow Launches AI Control Tower for Centralized AI Agent Management

At Knowledge 2025, ServiceNow introduced the AI Control Tower, a centralized platform designed to manage, secure, and optimize AI agents, models, and workflows across an organization’s entire AI ecosystem. This solution makes it possible for businesses to oversee all AI agents—whether ServiceNow’s own or third-party—in one place.

Alongside AI Control Tower, ServiceNow unveiled AI Agent Fabric, a communication framework that enables seamless interaction between AI agents and partner integrations. Together, these tools address the growing need for effective AI governance as organizations deploy more AI-driven digital assistants.

Centralized Oversight for Complex AI Environments

Managing multiple AI agents across various environments is becoming increasingly complex. According to Gartner, companies that adopt AI governance platforms will see a 30% increase in customer trust and a 25% improvement in compliance scores by 2028. AI Control Tower meets this need by providing centralized control, allowing organizations to coordinate AI agents as effectively as human teams.

As Amit Zavery, ServiceNow’s president and chief product officer, explained, “With AI Control Tower, businesses can oversee AI workforces in the same way the human workforce is managed, ensuring each agent is aligned, coordinated, optimized, and delivering impact at scale.”

Maximizing AI Investments with Comprehensive Management

Built into the ServiceNow AI Platform and expanding on the existing AI Agent Orchestrator, AI Control Tower covers strategy, governance, performance, and compliance for the full AI lifecycle. It offers five major benefits:

  • Enterprise-wide AI visibility: Monitor every AI agent, model, and workflow from a single dashboard.
  • Built-in compliance and governance: Proactively manage risks related to security and privacy.
  • End-to-end lifecycle management: Oversee AI processes from concept through implementation and continuous optimization.
  • Real-time reporting: Access dynamic dashboards that provide operational insights and validate AI performance.
  • Alignment with business strategy: Ensure AI initiatives support overall business and technology goals.

AI Agent Fabric Enables Dynamic Collaboration

ServiceNow’s AI Agent Fabric expands the platform’s capabilities by enabling varied communication forms: between agents, agents and tools, and entire agentic systems. Using protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent Protocol (A2A), AI agents can exchange information and coordinate tasks in real time.

This capability supports complex workflows and reflects ServiceNow’s aim to develop a business platform ready for agentic AI, integrating AI, data, and workflows seamlessly.

Partner Integrations Extend AI Agent Fabric

Several technology leaders, including Accenture, Cisco, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Zoom, and others, have already integrated with AI Agent Fabric. These partnerships enable smooth, end-to-end workflows across different AI agents, helping organizations automate business processes more effectively.

The combined power of AI Control Tower and AI Agent Fabric positions ServiceNow as a frontrunner in providing businesses with a unified AI management platform. This solution delivers critical oversight on governance, compliance, and security, which is essential as AI agents become integral to enterprise operations.
