Serviceware SE Expands AI-Native Platform Use with Asian Fortune Global 500 Petroleum Company
Idstein, June 10, 2025. Serviceware SE (ISIN DE000A2G8X31) has deepened its collaboration with a major Asian petroleum group listed in the Fortune Global 500. This company, generating revenues in the high double-digit billion euro range and employing several tens of thousands, will now leverage the AI-native Serviceware Platform beyond IT Financial Management (ITFM).
The expansion targets the digitalization and automation of standard processes like internal approval workflows for planning, forecasting, and billing. This move reflects the growing international demand for AI-powered enterprise solutions.
Strengthening Digital Processes with AI
The new multi-year SaaS agreement, spanning at least three years and valued in the seven-digit euro range, follows the initial adoption of the Serviceware ESM Platform in spring 2024. The platform’s Financial and Performance modules, along with the Digital Value Model, have already been successfully implemented for billing, budgeting, and internal cost allocation.
At the core of this expansion is the AI Process Engine—an AI-driven process modeling tool that enables rapid creation and deployment of service workflows. By standardizing workflows and leveraging AI-generated reports, the company can simplify processes, accelerate operations, and reduce costs substantially.
Initially focused on ITFM, the AI Process Engine offers potential for broader application across IT Service Management (ITSM) areas in the future.
Leadership Perspective
Sam Wilson, Head of International Business at Serviceware, commented: "We are pleased to enhance our partnership with this global petroleum leader. Their decision to adopt AI-based process modeling and automation within IT Financial Management just one year after our initial collaboration underscores the effectiveness of our platform and the tangible AI benefits it delivers."
