Slingshot Aerospace announced Portal on April 14, an AI-native platform designed to consolidate space operations workflows for defense, civil, and commercial missions. The platform integrates sensing data, analytics, and decision-making tools into a single operational environment.

What Portal Does

The platform draws data from three sources: Slingshot's own Global Sensor Network, government tracking data, and a continuously updated space object catalog. A data marketplace lets customers combine Slingshot observations with their own and third-party sources.
Unlike software vendors that rely entirely on external data feeds, Slingshot operates its own optical sensor network. This proprietary data feeds directly into Portal's analytics engine, reducing dependency on outside sources.

Portal can run in disconnected, air-gapped command-and-control environments-a requirement for classified national security work. The same analytics engine can ingest mission data from electronic warfare, cyber, and missile warning systems when available, supporting coordinated operational response.
