AI agent for operations managers

Claim Evidence Timeline Agent

An adjuster-ready chronology where every event is traceable to its source.

Claim Evidence Timeline Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Insurance adjusters spend hours rebuilding what happened from claim documents that disagree. When a claim is opened or new documents arrive, this agent extracts every dated event together with the passage it came from and adds it to a chronology. Where sources disagree, for example two different loss dates, it keeps both accounts side by side and creates a targeted evidence task. It never picks a winner. It then checks the chronology against the claim checklist and inspects the next document that could close a gap. When the checklist is met, it assembles a review packet. Coverage, fraud and claimant contact stay with the adjuster. Edge case: a police report and the claimant's statement give loss dates two days apart, so both stay visible with an evidence task.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

It inspects the document most likely to close a gap or resolve a conflict, and never chooses between conflicting accounts itself.

  • Read next the document most likely to close a gap or resolve a conflict.
  • Conflicts are shown with both sources, never resolved by the agent.
  • Every event must link to a source passage or it is not added.

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Claim checklist per line of business
  • Which documents are read first (default reports, then invoices, then statements)
  • Date difference that counts as a conflict (default any)
  • Format of the review packet

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Coverage decisions
  • Fraud conclusions
  • Claimant communications

Hard limits

  • No coverage or fraud conclusions.

It stops when

  • Done: chronology complete.
  • Waiting: evidence task open.

An example run

What happensClaim 77-1042 was opened on May 6 with five documents. The agent extracted 23 events. The claimant said the water leak began May 1; the plumber's invoice said April 29. The check failed, so both accounts were kept and a task asked for the plumber's call log. The log arrived May 9 and the agent re-evaluated. The adjuster reviewed the chronology on May 10.
