AI agent for nonprofit program managers

Delegation Brief Completion Agent

Every delegated task starts with a complete brief.

Delegation Brief Completion Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Delegated tasks often lack the context needed to start, such as the outcome, deadline, authority or reference material. When a manager delegates a task, this agent checks the brief for each required element. It asks the manager targeted questions about what is missing, starting with the expected outcome and the decision authority. When answers conflict, for example a tight deadline with a broad scope, it keeps the conflict visible in the brief. It assembles an actionable delegation brief and the manager assigns the work. It never assigns work or changes authority itself. Edge case: the manager names a budget but not who can approve spending, so the agent asks.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensOn February 2 a manager delegated a vendor comparison with only a title and due date. The agent's completeness check failed on outcome, authority and references. It asked three questions. The manager answered two, leaving authority open, so the agent asked again. Once complete, the brief listed a shortlist outcome, a $50,000 limit and two references. The manager assigned it on February 3.
