AI agent for inventory control specialists
Emergency Supply Stockpile Check Agent
The stockpile holds the target quantities in date, with expiring stock rotated or replaced.
What it does
Emergency stockpiles such as masks, antidotes, water and medical supplies expire on shelves, and the loss is found only during a drill. Each month the agent reads the inventory and the storage logs, which show temperature and humidity records, and lists items expiring in the next six months or stored outside range. It proposes a rotation, such as using older stock in training or donating to a clinic, or a replacement purchase and drafts the request with quantities. When an order is placed, the agent follows it up, confirms delivery and updates the inventory. If it is late or short, it chases the supplier and flags the shortfall. The coordinator approves all purchases. Edge case: a batch that was stored too hot gets treated as expired.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides
It compares in-date quantity with target level and proposes rotation first, replacement when stock falls below target.
- Anything under target after expiry gets replacement planned
- Out-of-range storage counts as expired
- Rotate stock within 12 months of expiry first
- Orders over the budget need approval
