AI agent for marketing consultants

Growth Opportunity Sizing Agent

Rank growth ideas by size, cost and confidence

Growth Opportunity Sizing Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Consultants suggest growth opportunities, but clients need to know which ideas are worth their money. This agent takes a list of ideas, such as a new channel, a new audience or a pricing test, and pulls the client's data, market data and benchmarks. For each idea, it estimates the potential gain, the cost and the time to see results. It then checks that each estimate has a source and flags weak assumptions. Estimates without support go back for better data or are marked as guesses. It ranks ideas by gain over cost and drafts a short plan. The consultant reviews the plan before presenting it and decides what to recommend. Edge case: ideas with no data at all are listed as tests to run first, with a small budget, instead of being ranked alongside sized ideas.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensFor a meal kit client, the agent sizes 12 ideas. The source check fails for 3: their conversion rates are guesses. The agent replaces them with the client's checkout data and an industry benchmark it cites. A referral program now ranks first, with an estimated $42,000 a quarter for $6,000 of cost. The agent drafts the plan, and the consultant reviews it before presenting.
