AI agent for training instructors

Interactive Game Content Builder Agent

A working training game where every round tests a learning objective.

Interactive Game Content Builder Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

The class loves the game, but afterward nobody can say what it taught. This agent reads the learning objectives and builds game rounds, such as a quiz race or a scenario puzzle. It maps each round to one objective and checks that the round tests the target knowledge, not just luck or speed. Then it plays through the game with sample correct and incorrect answers and looks for dead ends where a player cannot progress. After each fix, it plays the game through again. Edge case: one round can be won by guessing the longest answer, so the agent rewrites it to require a choice with a reason. The instructor approves the final game and the facilitator guide.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

It keeps a round only if a player cannot win without showing the target knowledge, and fixes any round that blocks play.

  • Every objective appears in at least one round.
  • Rounds that can be won by luck are rewritten.
  • Total game time must fit the slot with a 5-minute buffer.
  • Provide an answer key for each round.

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Game length
  • Format (cards, quiz, scenario)
  • Objectives covered
  • Players per team
  • Scoring method

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • The final game

Hard limits

  • Do not use real company data in a game.
  • Do not skip the answer key.

It stops when

  • Done: all rounds test objectives and the game plays through
  • Stop: the objectives are too broad to test, so the agent asks to narrow them

An example run

What happensAn instructor wants a 20-minute safety quiz game. The agent builds six rounds. In the check, round 3 can be won by picking the longest answer, so it fails. The agent turns it into a scenario with two choices and reasons. The play-through finds that round 5 leads nowhere on a wrong answer. The agent adds a retry path. Jon approves the game.
