AI agent for mortgage brokers
Large Deposit Sourcing Agent
Find large deposits in statements, collect explanations and proof and check them against lender rules before submission
What it does
Large deposits trigger underwriting questions late in the process. When statements arrive, the agent scans them for deposits above the lender's threshold, and groups related transfers. For each one it drafts a request to the client for an explanation and proof, such as a sale document or gift letter. It checks the proof against the lender's rules for sourcing and seasoning. If the proof is weak, it asks for more. After documents arrive it rechecks and drafts a letter of explanation. The broker approves what goes to the lender. Edge case: a $12,000 transfer from a savings account to checking appears as a deposit, and the agent matches it with the other statement.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
