AI agent for voice actors
Narration Pronunciation and Name List Agent
A confirmed pronunciation list used consistently in the recording, with mispronunciations caught before delivery
What it does
An audiobook narrator records 20 chapters and the author later says that three character names and a town were pronounced wrong, and the fixes cost a week. This agent reads the script before recording and extracts names, places, brands and technical terms. It looks up pronunciations in dictionaries and public sources, marks the uncertain ones, and builds a list with phonetic spelling and notes to confirm with the author or client. After recording, it transcribes the audio, compares it with the list and finds words that sound different from the agreed pronunciation. It loops on mispronounced words by flagging the exact time and asking for a pickup. The narrator approves the list. Edge case: a name with two accepted pronunciations is flagged so the narrator picks one for the whole book.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

- After recording, transcribe the audio and mark each listed word
- Compare the spoken words with the confirmed list
- Does every listed word match the confirmed pronunciation? If not: List the time stamps of the wrong words and request pickups. Back to step 6.
- Update the list with any new names found in the recording
- Final pronunciation list and corrected audio list
How it decides
It marks a pronunciation as confirmed only when the author, client or an authoritative source gives it, and compares recordings with the confirmed list.
- Treat a name as uncertain unless a source or the client confirms it
- Keep one pronunciation per name across the whole work
- Check names in each chapter against the full list
- Ask the author about invented or foreign names first

What keeps you in control
It always asks you first
- Narrator approves the pronunciation list and every message to the client
Hard limits
- Never send anything to the author or client without approval
- Never change a confirmed pronunciation on its own
It stops when
- Done: All listed words match the confirmed pronunciation in the final audio
- Stop: A pronunciation cannot be confirmed, so the agent leaves it to the narrator's judgment and records the choice
