AI agent for vocal artists
Vocal Session Recording Plan Agent
A recorded vocal set with every needed part covered within the studio time and without strain
What it does
Voice fatigue and missing parts waste studio hours. This agent builds a plan of what to record and in which order, based on the song's range and difficulty. It puts demanding parts early while the voice is fresh, and schedules warm-ups and rest breaks. During the session it logs which takes are done and which parts still lack a usable take. When a take fails, because of pitch, breath or tired tone, it reorders the remaining plan, for example moving the hardest high note to the next day or adding a rest. It checks the remaining plan against the booked studio time. The singer approves the plan and any change. Edge case: a singer with a cold gets a lighter plan with more doubles and harmonies, not high leads.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- Vocal session booked
- List the parts needed and their range and difficulty
- Order the parts and place warm-ups and rest breaks
- Singer approves the planThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Log each take as usable or not during the session
- Is the take usable? If not: log the reason, add a rest or move the part and reorder the plan. Back to step 4.
- Check the remaining parts against the remaining studio time
- Does everything left fit in the time?If not: move low-priority parts such as doubles to another session. Back to step 4.
- Session log and a list of what remains
How it decides
Hard and high parts go first when the voice is fresh. A part is done when a usable take is logged. Rest is added after 45 minutes of hard singing.
- Put the highest and hardest parts in the first hour
- Add a rest after 45 minutes of hard singing
- Move a part after two failed takes
- Plan doubles and harmonies last
