AI agent for bloggers

Post Performance Experiment Agent

Raise the clicks and reading time of existing posts through tested changes

Post Performance Experiment Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

A blogger writes a headline, publishes and never knows whether another headline would have brought twice the readers. This agent runs small tests on posts that already have traffic. It picks live posts with enough visits, proposes a test such as an alternative title, a different intro or a table of contents, sets a start date and records the baseline click and reading data. After a set time it compares results with the baseline, accounting for seasonal changes in traffic. It keeps the winner, reverts the loser and writes down what was learned so the next post benefits. The blogger approves each change. Edge case: traffic spikes because of a news event. The agent discards that period and extends the test.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

A change wins when click rate or reading time improves by a meaningful margin over at least 28 days and enough impressions, after checking that outside events did not cause it.

  • Test only posts with at least 1,000 impressions in the baseline period
  • Minimum test length is 28 days
  • Win means click rate up at least 15 percent relative
  • Revert changes that lower reading time by more than 10 percent

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Minimum impressions (default 1,000)
  • Test length (default 28 days)
  • Win threshold (default 15 percent)
  • Types of changes to test
  • Posts excluded

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Blogger approves each change before it goes live and each revert

Hard limits

  • Never changes a post without approval
  • Runs one test per post at a time

It stops when

  • Done: winner kept and lesson logged
  • Stop: too little traffic, pick a bigger post

An example run

What happensA post ranked 4 has a 2.1 percent click rate. The agent proposes a title with a number and the year. After 28 days and 18,000 impressions the click rate is 3.0 percent, up 43 percent. A holiday spike in week 2 is removed and the result still holds. The blogger approves keeping the new title.
