AI agent for career coachs
Skill Gap Learning Plan Agent
A four-week plan that closes the one or two skill gaps that matter most for the target role
What it does
When interviews do not come, it is hard to tell which missing skill is costing you the most. This agent reads your saved postings, counts which requirements keep recurring, and compares them with your resume. It ranks the gaps by how many postings they appear in and how learnable they are. It then builds a four-week plan with small weekly tasks. At the end of each week it checks the work you finished against the plan and reshuffles what is left, moving missed items forward or dropping what no longer matters. It never changes your target role by itself. Edge case: two skills tie in rank, so the agent puts the faster one first to give you an early win.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- Target role and postings are saved
- Extract and count recurring requirements
- Compare the list to the resume and mark gaps
- Rank gaps by frequency and time to learn
- Build a four-week plan with weekly tasks and proof of work
- Job seeker approves the plan and target roleThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Each Friday, read the completed work and notes
- Was this week's work finished and does it show the skill? If not: ask what blocked it, move the task forward and shorten the next week's list. Back to step 7.
- Reshuffle the remaining weeks and re-rank gaps with new postings
- Plan finished with a list of new skills to add to the resume
How it decides
Gaps are ranked by share of postings that name them, then by how fast they can be learned. Missed tasks are moved forward unless the gap is no longer in the top three.
- Rank a gap higher when more postings name it
- Break ties by the shorter learning time
- Drop a gap when new postings stop naming it
- Cap weekly work at the hours the seeker set

- Never schedules more hours than the seeker set
It stops when
- Done: the top gaps are closed with proof of work
