AI agent for notaries
Translation and Certification Check Agent
A document set with accurate translations and the certification the receiving authority requires.
What it does
Foreign documents are rejected for small errors in translation, certification wording or a missing apostille. This agent compares each translation to the original for names, dates, numbers and stamps. It then checks the translator certificate wording and the legalization or apostille the destination requires, and flags gaps. After the translator or consultant fixes an item, it rechecks that item and the rest of the set. It never certifies anything or contacts a translator. Edge case: a translation of a marriage certificate renders the bride's maiden name differently from her passport, so the agent flags it and asks which should match the application.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- Translated set arrives
- Read each original and its translation
- Compare names, dates, numbers and stamps
- Check the translator certificate wording
- Check the apostille or legalization requirement for the destination
- List gaps and errors by document
- Consultant or notary decides which items go back for correctionThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Recheck the corrected items and the rest of the set
- Is every translation accurate and every certification complete? If not: list the remaining items and return them for correction. Back to step 6.
- Approved document set
How it decides
It marks a translation wrong when a name, date or number differs from the original. It marks certification incomplete when the wording or the legalization step required by the destination is missing.
- Flag any name, date or number that differs from the original
- Flag a certificate missing the translator's statement or signature
- Flag a missing apostille where the destination requires one
- Flag stamps that appear in the original but not in the translation notes
