This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to omni.fun, a site where people launch and trade small crypto tokens called memecoins. Once it is connected, you can just ask your AI questions about those tokens and it will go and fetch the numbers for you. It is handy if you follow crypto trends and want quick answers without clicking around a website.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program you connect to it, and that helper gives your AI a new skill. This particular helper connects your AI to omni.fun, so it can look up tokens, prices and trading details there. You ask in normal words, and the AI uses this helper behind the scenes to get the answer.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like which tokens are trending right now. The AI passes that question to this helper, and the helper talks to the omni.fun service over the internet. omni.fun sends back the token list, prices or quote, and the helper hands it to your AI. Your AI then explains it to you in plain language in the chat. It only reads information; it does not buy or sell anything for you.

What you can do with it

  • See which memecoins are trending right now
  • Search for a token by name, ticker symbol or address
  • Get the current price and market cap of a token
  • Ask for a buy or sell price quote on any supported chain
  • Check how close a token is to graduating
  • Simulate a trade to see the fees before you do anything
  • Look up which blockchains omni.fun supports

Try asking your AI

  • “What memecoins are trending on omni.fun today?”
  • “Find the token called PEPE and show me its price and market cap”
  • “Give me a quote for buying 100 dollars of this token on Base”
  • “Simulate selling my tokens and show me the fees”
  • “Which tokens are close to graduating right now?”

What it gives back to you

You get back plain answers in the chat: lists of tokens with their names, prices and market caps, or a single token's details. A quote comes back as a price with the fees broken out. A trade simulation shows what you would pay or receive, without actually doing the trade. Everything is text you can read, not files or downloads.

Before you start

What you need

  • The Claude desktop app or another AI app that supports MCP servers
  • Node.js installed on your computer (the free software that runs the helper)

Good to know

This only reads public data and does not trade for you, but memecoin prices are very risky and can move fast, so treat any numbers as information, not advice.
