ZeroDust MCP server
by andresdefi · official
Check and sweep leftover crypto gas balances to exactly zero on supported blockchains.

ZeroDust is a service that helps you move the last bits of crypto you have stuck on a blockchain. When you send everything, you usually can't, because you need a little left over to pay the transaction fee. ZeroDust solves that by paying the fee for you, so your balance can go to exactly zero. It is handy for people who use several blockchains and end up with small amounts stranded on the ones they no longer use.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to ZeroDust, so your AI can look up what is stranded on a wallet and, if you allow it, arrange a sweep. You just ask in plain words, and the helper does the technical work behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like whether a wallet has anything stranded. Your AI uses this helper to ask ZeroDust, which checks the blockchain and comes back with an answer. If you then ask it to sweep, the helper prepares the transaction, gets a quote, and (only if you have turned on the execute option) submits it. The money moves to the destination you chose, and the old balance becomes exactly zero. Everything can be done as a dry run first, so nothing actually moves until you are ready.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Check whether a wallet has leftover gas balance on a supported chain
- See what a sweep would cost before doing it
- Sweep a balance to another chain, to the same wallet or a different one
- Sweep a balance to another wallet on the same chain
- Run a dry run that signs everything but does not send anything
- Register an API key for higher usage limits
Try asking your AI
- “Does my wallet 0x1234... have anything stranded on Arbitrum?”
- “How much would it cost to sweep my Optimism balance to Base?”
- “Do a dry run of sweeping my Polygon balance to my wallet on Ethereum”
- “Sweep my Base balance to the same address on Arbitrum”
What it gives back to you
For a check, you get a plain answer in the chat: which chains have a balance, how much, and what a sweep would cost. For a dry run, you get the quote and the signatures, but nothing is sent. For a real sweep, you get a confirmation that the transaction went through, usually with a link to view it. The old chain balance ends at exactly zero.
Before you start
What you need
- An MCP client such as Claude Desktop or Claude Code
- Node.js installed if you want to run the local server
- A signing key or custody setup if you want to actually sweep, not just look
Good to know
A real sweep moves your crypto and cannot be undone, so try a dry run first and only turn on execute when you are sure.
Install it with your AI
Add ZeroDust MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check ZeroDust MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who use several blockchains and want to clean up small leftover balances, especially those running automated agents that accumulate stranded gas.
