CapMonster Cloud MCP server
Lets your AI send CAPTCHA puzzles to CapMonster Cloud and get the solved answer back.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to CapMonster Cloud, a paid service that solves CAPTCHA puzzles for you. It is handy if you work with websites that keep showing those "prove you are human" checks and you want your AI to handle the back-and-forth. You still need a browser helper to actually open the page, but this server does the solving part.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to CapMonster Cloud, so when you ask it to deal with a CAPTCHA, it can send the puzzle there and get the answer back. Think of it as giving your assistant a phone line to a specialist.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to solve a CAPTCHA on a page. The AI uses this helper to ask CapMonster Cloud what kinds of CAPTCHAs it can handle and what details each one needs. It then sends the puzzle off as a task and gets a task ID back. It checks on that task until CapMonster Cloud finishes, then hands you the solved token or answer. The AI can also check your CapMonster balance and grab a current browser user agent so everything matches.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List the CAPTCHA types CapMonster Cloud supports right now
- Look up what details a specific CAPTCHA type needs
- Send a CAPTCHA puzzle off to be solved
- Wait for the answer and bring it back to you
- Read CapMonster's own documentation pages
- Check how much credit is left on your CapMonster account
- Fetch a current Windows user agent string for consistency
Try asking your AI
- “What CAPTCHA types does CapMonster support?”
- “What fields do I need to send for a reCAPTCHA v2 task?”
- “Create a task to solve this Turnstile CAPTCHA and wait for the result”
- “How much balance is left on my CapMonster account?”
What it gives back to you
You get back plain answers in the chat: a list of supported CAPTCHA types, the fields a task needs, or the solved token once CapMonster finishes. It also reports your remaining balance as a number. If a task is still running, it tells you that too.
Before you start
What you need
- A CapMonster Cloud account and API key (a kind of password for apps; you get it from your CapMonster dashboard)
- Python 3.11 or newer, or the uvx tool installed
- An MCP client like the Claude desktop app
- A separate browser helper MCP server if you want the page opened and the answer put back in
Good to know
Solving CAPTCHAs uses your paid CapMonster balance, so each task costs money, and many websites do not allow automated solving, so check the rules before you use it.
