AgentEyes MCP server
Let your AI open a web page, take a screenshot, and read the page text and structure for you.
This is a small helper that gives your AI the ability to actually look at a web page. You give it a link, and it comes back with a picture of the page plus the words on it. It is handy if you often ask your AI about websites but it cannot see them.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. It cannot open a browser or look at a web page. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill. This one, AgentEyes, gives your AI eyes for the web: it opens a page for you and brings back what it sees.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to look at a web page and give it the link. Your AI passes that link to this helper. The helper quietly opens the page in a hidden browser, takes a picture of it, and copies the visible text and the page structure. Then your AI gets all of that back and can describe the page, summarize it, or answer your questions about it.
What you can do with it
- Take a screenshot of any public web page
- Read the visible text on a page
- Grab the page title and structure
- Capture a long page as several stacked images
- Set the browser window size for the capture
- Look at a page without taking a picture, just the text
Try asking your AI
- “Open https://example.com and tell me what the page says”
- “Take a full page screenshot of this article and summarize the main points”
- “What is the title and main message on this page?”
- “Look at this long page and give me the text in order”
What it gives back to you
You get back a picture of the page (or several pictures if the page is long), the visible text, and a description of the page structure. Your AI shows this in the chat as an image plus a written summary. For long pages, you may get a few images stacked top to bottom instead of one tall picture.
Before you start
What you need
- Node.js version 20 or newer on your computer
- The Claude desktop app or Cursor, or another app that can use MCP servers
- An internet connection
Good to know
It only opens public web pages and cannot log in to sites, so private or password-protected pages will not work.
Install it with your AI
Add AgentEyes MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check AgentEyes MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,361 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who often ask their AI about websites, like researchers, writers, support staff, and anyone checking pages by hand.
