AlgoVoi MCP server

by chopmob-cloud

Let your AI create crypto checkout links, check payments, and set up recurring charges on Algorand, VOI, Hedera and Stellar.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Make me a checkout link for 25 USDC on Algorand”, the AlgoVoi MCP server connects it to AlgoVoi, and you get back A checkout link you can copy.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to AlgoVoi, a service for taking crypto payments. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in plain words to make a payment link, check whether someone paid, or set up a repeating subscription. It is handy if you sell things online and want to accept crypto without clicking through a dashboard.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program you install that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to AlgoVoi, a crypto payment service. So when you ask your AI to make a payment link or check a payment, it can actually do that through AlgoVoi instead of just talking about it.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like make me a checkout link for 20 USDC on Algorand. Your AI passes that request to this helper program. The helper talks to AlgoVoi, which talks to the blockchain networks it supports. AlgoVoi sends back a link or an answer, and your AI shows it to you in the chat. For recurring payments, the helper can also set up a standing permission so AlgoVoi charges the customer each cycle without them signing every time.

What you can do with it

  • Create a hosted checkout link for a specific amount and chain
  • Check whether a payment went through, with or without a transaction ID
  • List which chains and assets AlgoVoi supports
  • Generate payment challenge headers for AI-to-AI payment flows
  • Set up a recurring subscription where the customer signs once
  • Pause, resume, or cancel a recurring authority
  • Verify that a webhook really came from AlgoVoi

Try asking your AI

  • “Make me a checkout link for 25 USDC on Algorand”
  • “Did the payment for order 1042 go through yet?”
  • “Set up a monthly subscription of 10 USDC on Hedera for customer wallet 0.0.123456, capped at 120 USDC per year”
  • “List all my active recurring authorities”

What it gives back to you

You get back plain answers in the chat: a checkout link you can copy, a yes or no about whether a payment landed, or a list of your active subscriptions with their status and how much is left on the cap. For recurring setups, it gives you a signing request the customer's wallet needs to approve. Everything shows up as text you can read and act on.

Before you start

What you need

  • An AlgoVoi account (free to sign up at algovoi.co.uk or dash.algovoi.co.uk)
  • An AlgoVoi API key that starts with algv_ (from your AlgoVoi dashboard)
  • A tenant ID from your AlgoVoi dashboard (only if you connect directly, not through AlgoVoi Cloud)
  • At least one payout wallet address for the chain you want to receive payments on

Good to know

This helper can create real payment links and set up recurring charges that pull money from a customer's wallet, so double-check amounts, chains and wallet addresses before you confirm anything.
