Drop2Run is a service that puts a folder of files on the web and gives you a link. This MCP server connects your AI to Drop2Run, so the AI can publish what it just wrote for you without you leaving the chat. It is handy if you write pages, notes or small sites with your AI and want a real link to share.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. It can write text, but it cannot put anything on the internet. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill. This helper gives your AI a connection to Drop2Run, so when you ask it to publish something, it can actually do that and hand you back a web address.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to publish a page or a folder. The AI passes the files to this helper. The helper sends them to Drop2Run, which puts them on Cloudflare's network of servers around the world. A moment later you get a live web address back in the chat. You can also ask it to list what you have published, or to remove a site you no longer want.

What it gives back to you
You get a short sentence plus a clean web address you can click or copy. When you ask for a list, you get your sites and folders with their names and links. When you delete something, you get a short confirmation. Publishing also tells you the subdomain it used, so you do not have to dig the link out of a paragraph.

What you need
- A Drop2Run account (sign in through the browser or from the chat)
- Node.js installed if you add the server with the npx command
- The Claude desktop app if you prefer the one-click bundle
Good to know
Deleting a site is permanent and cannot be undone, so be sure before you confirm it.
