BagOS MCP server

by edycutjong

Lets your AI read Bags token data on Solana and, with your confirmation, swap tokens or claim creator fees.

BagOS is a helper that connects your AI assistant to Bags, a place on the Solana network where people launch tokens and share the trading fees. It lets the AI look up token and fee information, and, only after you confirm, make a trade or claim fees from your own wallet. It is for people who already work with Solana tokens and want their assistant to handle the lookup and paperwork part.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives it one new skill, and here that skill is talking to Bags on Solana. Once it is connected, you can ask a plain question and the AI will fetch the answer from Bags for you. BagOS also adds a safety step, so anything that would move money waits for your clear yes.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something about Bags tokens, like who earns fees from a token or what a swap would cost. The AI passes your question to BagOS, which talks to the Bags service and the Solana network and brings the answer back into your chat. If you ask for a trade or a fee claim, BagOS first shows you a preview and a short code instead of doing it. You read the preview, and only if you send the same request again with that code does it sign and send the transaction. Every trade is checked against a spending limit before it goes anywhere.

What you can do with it

  • Look up lifetime fee data for a Bags token
  • See the top token creators ranked by fees earned
  • Get a price quote for a swap without trading
  • Check how much in creator fees your wallet can claim
  • See who shares a token's fees and in what proportion
  • Turn a social handle into the wallet that receives its fees
  • Swap tokens or claim fees after you confirm a preview

Try asking your AI

  • “Show me the top Bags creators by lifetime fees”
  • “What are the lifetime fees for this token mint?”
  • “How much in creator fees can my wallet claim right now?”
  • “Give me a quote to swap 0.05 SOL for this token”

What it gives back to you

For lookups you get lists, numbers and short summaries right in the chat, like a creator roster with fee amounts or a price quote with the expected output. For a trade or claim, the first reply is a preview showing the action, the amount, the network and your remaining spending room, plus a short confirmation code. After you confirm, you get a real transaction signature and a link to view it on a Solana explorer.

Before you start

What you need

  • A Bags API key from dev.bags.fm (a kind of password for apps; the site gives you one)
  • The Claude desktop app or Claude Code, with the BagOS server added
  • For trading and fee claims: a Solana keypair file and the gating token
  • Node.js installed on your computer so npx can run the server

Good to know

The write tools can move real money on Solana, so read the preview carefully before you confirm, and remember the spending caps only limit trades paid in SOL, not trades paid with other tokens.

Install it with your AI

Add BagOS MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check BagOS MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,609 MCP servers here for you.
