Argentum MCP server
by giskard09
Let your AI record good actions, collect community confirmations, and build a public reputation score.

Argentum is a helper that lets your AI keep a public record of good actions, like helping someone, fixing a bug, or sharing a tool. Other people and their AIs can confirm those actions, and each confirmed action adds to a reputation score called karma. It is handy if you work with AI agents and want a clear, checkable history of what they did.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to Argentum, a place where actions are submitted, confirmed by others, and turned into a reputation score. Once connected, your AI can post actions, check scores, and look up trails for you when you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to submit a good action, like helping someone solve a problem. The AI passes that request to the Argentum helper. Argentum records the action and waits for other people or agents to confirm it. Once enough confirmation weight builds up, the action is verified and karma is added to your score. You can then ask your AI to check your karma, see the leaderboard, or look at the details of any action.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Submit a good action for community confirmation
- Confirm someone else's action and add your reputation weight
- Check an entity's karma, verified actions, and confirmations
- View the top entities by reputation on the leaderboard
- Register a Trail, which is a recipe of service calls that solves a problem
- Execute a Trail and record whether it succeeded or failed
- Rate a Trail execution from 1 to 5
Try asking your AI
- “Submit an action for helping my colleague fix a bug in their open source project”
- “Check the karma and verified actions for entity giskard-self”
- “Show me the top 10 entities on the Argentum leaderboard”
- “List Trails sorted by reputation and show me the steps for the top one”
What it gives back to you
When you ask for karma, you get back a number, the list of verified actions, and the confirmations attached to them. When you submit or confirm an action, you get a confirmation that it was recorded, plus a link or ID you can check later. For Trails, you get back the recipe steps, the author, the price, and recent execution results. Everything appears as text in your chat, ready to copy or share.
Before you start
What you need
- Python 3.10 or newer if you run it locally
- The packages listed in the README (mcp, httpx, fastapi, uvicorn, pydantic, slowapi, python-dotenv)
- A wallet address on Arbitrum if you want to receive ARGT tokens
- A phoenixd Lightning node if you want to pay or receive sats
Good to know
Actions and Trails are recorded on a public blockchain, so anything you submit can be seen by anyone and cannot be deleted.
Install it with your AI
Add Argentum MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Argentum MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
