Booking.com MCP server

by HasData

Lets your AI search Booking.com stays by city and dates, and pull full hotel details for you.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Find hotels in Paris for Sep 15 to 18, two adults”, the Booking.com MCP server connects it to Booking.com, and you get back list of stays with prices.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Booking.com. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in normal words to find hotels for a trip, and it will go and look them up for you. It is handy for anyone who plans trips, compares prices, or does travel research for work.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. It cannot go and check a website. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, in this case a connection to Booking.com. So when you ask about hotels, the AI uses this helper to look things up on Booking.com and brings the answers back into your chat.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like find hotels in Paris for these dates. The AI sends that request to this helper. The helper talks to Booking.com and reads the public pages a signed-out visitor can see. It sends back a list of stays with prices, review scores, and locations. If you want more on one hotel, the helper can open that hotel's page and bring back the rooms, facilities, and house rules.

What you can do with it

  • Search stays in a city for specific dates and guest counts
  • Filter by star rating, review score, price range, or free cancellation
  • Sort results by price, rating, or distance from the center
  • Pull full details for one hotel, including rooms and facilities
  • Compare the same dates across two different cities
  • Read house rules, child and pet policies, and category ratings

Try asking your AI

  • “Search Booking.com for hotels in Paris from September 15 to 18 for two adults, and show me the ten best-reviewed under $700 for the stay.”
  • “Take the top result and pull its full detail: facilities, house rules, room options, and category ratings.”
  • “Find four-star hotels in Paris with free cancellation near the center, and list price and review score.”
  • “Compare the cheapest stay in Paris against Rome for the same dates.”

What it gives back to you

You get back a list of stays with the hotel name, price for your dates, review score, star rating, and how far it is from the center. For a single hotel, you get the full picture: rooms, beds, facilities, house rules, and ratings by category. Everything comes back as text in your chat, so your AI can read it and answer your question. It may also show you the Booking.com link for each property.
