Heurist Mesh MCP server

by heurist-network · official

Lets your AI look up crypto tokens, wallets, funding rates and Web3 market trends for you.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “What is the price of ETH right now?”, the Heurist Mesh MCP server connects it to Heurist Mesh, and you get back plain answer in your chat.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to Heurist Mesh, a service full of specialist crypto agents. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI about a token, a wallet or the market, and it will go and find the answer. It is handy for anyone who works with crypto and wants quick answers without opening ten different websites.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, here a connection to Heurist Mesh and its Web3 agents. When you ask a question, your AI passes it to this helper, the helper asks Heurist Mesh, and the answer comes back into your chat. You do not need to understand how it works, you just need to set it up once.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something about crypto, like the price of a token or what a wallet holds. Your AI sends that request to this MCP server, which talks to the Heurist Mesh service. Heurist Mesh runs specialist agents that look up tokens, wallets, funding rates, trending projects and Twitter chatter. The results come back and your AI turns them into a plain answer for you in the chat.

What you can do with it

  • Look up a token by its name, symbol or address and see its market data
  • See which tokens are trending right now across several sources
  • Read recent tweets from a crypto account or search Twitter for a topic
  • Check the funding rates and open interest on Binance contracts
  • Look at what tokens and NFTs a wallet holds
  • Search the web for a topic and get a short summary
  • Get an AI-written summary of what is moving in the market

Try asking your AI

  • “What is the current price and market cap of ETH?”
  • “Show me the top trending tokens today and why they are trending”
  • “What tokens does this wallet hold: 0x1234...abcd”
  • “What are the funding rates on Binance perpetuals right now?”

What it gives back to you

You get answers written in plain language in your chat, like a token profile with price and socials, a list of trending tokens, or a summary of a wallet's holdings. Some tools also give you short AI-written summaries of the market or of a webpage. Everything shows up as normal text you can read and copy.

Before you start

What you need

  • A Heurist API key (a kind of password for the service; you can get one free with the invite code "claude")
  • Python 3.10 or higher, or Docker, if you run it yourself
  • The UV package manager (recommended) if you run it yourself
  • The Claude desktop app or Cursor, or another app that supports MCP

Good to know

It uses your Heurist API key, which may use up paid credits, and the shared public server can be slow or unstable, so for serious use set up your own.

Install it with your AI
