Crypto Orderbook MCP server
by kukapay
Lets your AI check buy and sell pressure in crypto order books across big exchanges.

This is a small helper that lets your AI look at crypto order books on major exchanges. An order book is the list of buy and sell orders for a coin at a given moment. If you follow crypto prices or trade a bit, this can give you a quick read on where the market is leaning.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to crypto exchange order books, so it can look up live buy and sell data for you when you ask. You do not need to understand how it works inside. You just ask in plain words.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like how the order book looks for Bitcoin on Binance. The AI passes your question to this helper. The helper goes to the exchange and reads the current buy and sell orders. It adds up how much is on each side and works out which side is heavier. Then it hands the numbers back to your AI, which shows them to you in the chat.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Check buy and sell depth for a coin on one exchange
- See which side of the order book is heavier right now
- Compare the same coin across several exchanges side by side
- Get a mid price for a trading pair
- Look at a coin on Binance, Kraken, Coinbase, Bitfinex, OKX or Bybit
Try asking your AI
- “Calculate the order book metrics for BTC/USDT on Binance with a 1% depth range”
- “Compare the order book metrics for ETH/USDT across Binance, Kraken and Coinbase with a 1% depth range”
- “How is the buy and sell pressure on SOL/USDT on OKX right now”
- “Show me a table of BTC/USDT order book depth on Binance, Bybit and Bitfinex”
What it gives back to you
You get numbers back in the chat. For one exchange you get the buy depth, the sell depth, an imbalance figure and the mid price. For several exchanges you get a small table with one row per exchange. Your AI can then explain what those numbers suggest in plain words if you ask.
