Crypto Projects MCP server
by kukapay
Lets your AI look up details about a cryptocurrency project, like price, market cap, investors, and token supply.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Mobula, a service that keeps data about cryptocurrency projects. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI about a coin by name and get a tidy report back. It is handy for anyone who writes about crypto, tracks coins, or just wants quick facts without opening five tabs.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program you connect to your AI that gives it one new skill. This helper gives your AI a link to Mobula, a crypto data service. So when you ask about a coin, your AI can go and look up real numbers and details for you instead of guessing.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like "tell me about Avalanche". Your AI passes that request to this helper. The helper asks Mobula for the project's data, like price, market cap, supply, links, investors, exchanges, and token release schedule. Then it hands the answer back to your AI, which shows it to you in the chat. You can ask for raw numbers or for a nicely formatted write-up.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it

- Read a short description of what the project does
- Find the official website, Twitter, and Discord links
- See which investors backed the project
- See which exchanges list the token
- Get the token distribution and release schedule
Try asking your AI
- “Tell me about Avalanche”
- “What is the market cap of Avalanche right now?”
- “Give me a full report on Avalanche in English”
- “Which investors backed Avalanche and which exchanges list it?”
What it gives back to you
You get a written answer in the chat, either a short summary or a longer report with sections. The report can include overview, market data, links, investors, exchanges, token distribution, and a release schedule. If you ask for raw data, you get the plain numbers and fields instead of the formatted write-up.
