PumpSwap MCP server
by kukapay
Lets your AI check token prices and buy or sell tokens on PumpSwap using your Solana wallet.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to PumpSwap, a place on the Solana network where people swap tokens. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in plain words to check a token price, look at a pool, or buy and sell tokens. It is handy for people who follow crypto and want to do quick trades without clicking through a website.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to PumpSwap on Solana, so the AI can look up prices and send real buy or sell orders for you when you ask. You stay in the chat, and the helper does the work behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You type a normal request, like asking for the price of a token or telling it to buy some. Your AI passes that request to this helper program. The helper talks to the Solana network through an RPC endpoint, which is just the address it uses to reach the blockchain. If you asked for a trade, it signs the transaction with your private key and sends it. Then it reports back what happened, including the transaction ID and the price.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Buy tokens with SOL at a price you set
- Sell tokens back for SOL
- Check the current price of a token in SOL
- Look up pool details for a token
- Set how much slippage you allow on buys and sells
- Set a priority fee so your trade goes through faster
Try asking your AI
- “What is the current price of the token with mint FC988ZAKRPc26wefDAxcYWB8kgbJTH4Tg3qDvf7xpump?”
- “Buy 0.1 SOL worth of tokens with mint FC988ZAKRPc26wefDAxcYWB8kgbJTH4Tg3qDvf7xpump.”
- “Sell 1000 tokens of FC988ZAKRPc26wefDAxcYWB8kgbJTH4Tg3qDvf7xpump.”
- “Show me the pool data for the token with mint FC988ZAKRPc26wefDAxcYWB8kgbJTH4Tg3qDvf7xpump.”
What it gives back to you
For a price check, you get a short sentence with the price in SOL. For a pool lookup, you get a list of pool details like the creator, the mints, and the LP supply. For a buy or sell, you get a confirmation with the transaction ID, the amount, and the token price. It all shows up as normal text in your chat.
Before you start
What you need
- Python 3.13 or higher
- uv installed (a tool that runs Python projects)
- A Solana RPC endpoint address (a free public one is listed in the README)
- Your Solana private key, kept in a file called .env.private
Good to know
This helper can move real money and it needs your Solana private key, so a wrong request or a leaked key can cost you funds.
