Longbridge MCP server

by longbridge · official

Ask your AI about US and HK stocks, options, and your Longbridge portfolio, and let it place trades for you.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “How is NVDA doing today?”, the Longbridge MCP server connects it to Longbridge, and you get back answer in your chat.

This is the official connector that Longbridge, a brokerage, made for AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude. Once you add it and sign in with your Longbridge account, you can ask your AI about markets and your own account in plain language. It is handy if you invest in US or Hong Kong stocks and want quick answers without clicking around a trading app.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to Longbridge, so it can look up live prices, read your positions, and even send orders when you ask. You sign in once, and after that your AI can reach Longbridge on your behalf.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like how a stock is doing or what is in your portfolio. The AI sends that request to this Longbridge helper. The helper talks to Longbridge's systems using your signed-in account, then sends the answer back. Your AI turns that into a normal reply in the chat, so you see prices, positions, or research without leaving the conversation. If you ask it to do something like place an order, it can send that to Longbridge too.

What you can do with it

  • Check real-time and historical prices for US and Hong Kong stocks
  • Look up options, warrants, and option trading volume
  • Read fundamentals like financial statements, dividends, and analyst ratings
  • See your positions, balance, and profit and loss
  • Place, change, or cancel orders, including multi-leg option orders
  • Set up price alerts and dollar-cost averaging plans
  • Browse the finance calendar for earnings, dividends, and IPOs

Try asking your AI

  • “How is NVDA trading today?”
  • “Show my Hong Kong positions and my profit and loss”
  • “Compare AAPL and MSFT valuations”
  • “Any IPOs coming up this week?”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in the chat, in normal sentences and small tables. That can be a price, a list of your holdings, a summary of a company's financials, or a note that an order was placed. If you asked for something that changes your account, like an order, it tells you what it did.
