CuddlyNest MCP server
by mafedelahoz
Search CuddlyNest hotels and read live room prices, availability and cancellation rules.

This is a small helper that lets your AI look up hotels on CuddlyNest for you. You ask in plain words, and it finds places to stay and pulls the room details from the real public listing pages. It is handy if you plan trips and want quick answers without clicking around a booking site.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to CuddlyNest, so when you ask about a hotel, the AI can go look it up there and bring the answer back to you.
What this MCP server does
You tell your AI something like a city and travel dates. The AI passes that to this helper. The helper opens the real CuddlyNest pages in a quiet background browser, waits for the prices to load, and reads what is on the page. Then it hands the results back to the AI, which shows them to you in the chat. It only reads. It never books or pays.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search hotels in a city or area and see the top matches
- Get a hotel's name, address, star rating, guest rating and amenities
- Read room options with prices for your dates
- See how many rooms are left at a given price
- Check the cancellation policy text for each room
- Compare prices between different room partners
- Pull the broader city hotel list when it can be found
Try asking your AI
- “Find hotels in Cartagena, Colombia for 2 adults”
- “What rooms and prices are available at this CuddlyNest hotel for March 10 to March 14, 2025?”
- “Show me the cancellation policy for the cheapest room at that hotel”
- “List a few hotels in Lisbon with their guest ratings and star ratings”
What it gives back to you
You get back lists and short summaries in the chat. For a search, that means hotel names, links, ratings and amenities. For a hotel, that means room titles, prices, how many rooms are left, and the cancellation policy text. Everything is shown as normal text you can read and copy.
Before you start
What you need
- Node.js 18 or newer
- A Chromium browser for Playwright (installed automatically, or run npx playwright install chromium once)
Good to know
It only reads public pages and never books or pays, but the room data comes from CuddlyNest's page layout, so a site change can make prices come back empty.
