Crypto Signals MCP server

by MarcinDudekDev

Lets your AI scan 50+ cryptocurrencies for unusual trading volume and flag possible whale or pump activity.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Which coins are acting strangely today?”, the Crypto Signals MCP server connects it to Crypto volume service, and you get back list of unusual coins.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to a live crypto monitoring service. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI which coins are showing strange trading activity, and it will go and check for you. It is handy for anyone who follows crypto prices and wants an early heads-up without staring at charts all day.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to a live crypto anomaly detection service, so it can look up real trading data for you. When you ask a question, your AI passes it to this helper, the helper asks the service, and the answer comes back into your chat.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like which coins are acting strangely today. Your AI sends that request to this helper program. The helper talks to a live service that watches trading volume across more than 50 cryptocurrencies. That service compares each coin's trading volume to its market size and rates how unusual it looks. The results come back to your AI, which explains them to you in plain words.

What you can do with it

  • Scan all monitored tokens for unusual trading volume
  • Get a detailed look at one coin like Bitcoin or Ethereum
  • See only the strongest alerts, filtered for high confidence
  • Check which tokens show signs of whale movement
  • Compare a coin's trading volume against its market size
  • See live prices, 24 hour changes, volume and market cap

Try asking your AI

  • “Scan all crypto tokens for volume anomalies”
  • “Analyze Bitcoin for unusual trading activity”
  • “Show me high-confidence crypto alerts”
  • “Which tokens have whale movement signals right now?”

What it gives back to you

You get back a list or a short report in your chat. For a full scan, that means the coins with unusual activity and how strongly they are flagged, from low up to critical. For a single coin, you get its current price, 24 hour change, volume, market cap and how unusual its volume looks. The high-confidence view only shows the strongest signals.
