Polymarket News MCP server
by mobymedia
Your AI can take a news headline and show which Polymarket prediction markets it could move, with live odds.

This is a small helper that connects your AI to Polymarket, a website where people bet on the outcome of real-world events. You give your AI a news headline, and it tells you which prediction markets on Polymarket are about that same topic. It is handy if you follow the news and want to see what the crowd thinks will happen next.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program you connect to your AI, and it gives your AI one new skill. This helper gives your AI a link to Polymarket, so it can look up live prediction markets and their odds for you. You ask in normal words, and your AI quietly uses this helper behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You paste a headline into your AI and ask which markets it touches. Your AI passes that text to this helper. The helper compares your words against about 2,000 active Polymarket markets and finds the closest ones. It sends back each matching market with its current odds, recent trading volume, the exact words that matched, and a link. Your AI then shows you that list in the chat.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Match any news headline to the Polymarket markets it could move
- See live odds and 24-hour trading volume for each matching market
- Browse a live feed of recent headlines already matched to markets
- Search Polymarket markets by typing a few words
- See which markets are most active right now
- Look up one market's current odds from its link
Try asking your AI
- “Federal Reserve signals rate hike as inflation stays hot”
- “Which Polymarket markets are most active today?”
- “Search Polymarket for markets about the next UK election”
- “What are the current odds on this market: https://polymarket.com/event/fed-rate-hike-in-2026”
What it gives back to you
You get a short list of matching markets. Each one shows the market question, the current odds for each outcome (like Yes 47 percent, No 53 percent), the trading volume in the last 24 hours, a match score, the exact words that matched, and a clickable link. It all appears as text in your chat, so you can read it and click through to Polymarket yourself.
