NakamotoNotes Bitcoin Barometer MCP server
by multiassist
Lets your AI check a 0 to 100 Bitcoin market heat score, the BTC price, and the ten indicators behind it.
This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to the NakamotoNotes Bitcoin Barometer, a public page that scores the Bitcoin market from 0 to 100. Once it is connected, you can just ask your AI things like how hot the market is right now or what the Fear and Greed number is, and it will look it up for you. It is handy if you follow Bitcoin and want quick, plain answers without opening five different websites.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill or one new connection. This one connects your AI to the NakamotoNotes Bitcoin Barometer, a public data feed about the Bitcoin market. So when you ask a question about the market heat or the BTC price, your AI can go and read that feed and answer you with real, current numbers.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about the Bitcoin market, like how hot things are right now. Your AI passes that question to this helper. The helper reads the public Barometer feed at nakamotonotes.com, which holds the current Heat Score, the BTC price, and ten indicators. It sends the numbers back to your AI, and your AI explains them to you in the chat. You can also ask it to explain what a single indicator means, or to show you how the score looked on past days.
What you can do with it
- Check the current Bitcoin Heat Score from 0 to 100 and which zone it falls in
- See the BTC price with its 24 hour and 7 day change
- Look up the ten indicators, like MVRV Z-Score, NUPL, Puell, Mayer Multiple and Fear and Greed
- Ask for a plain explanation of what one indicator means
- Pull daily history back to 2014 to see how the score moved over time
- Compare today's reading with past readings
Try asking your AI
- “What is the Bitcoin Heat Score right now and what zone are we in?”
- “Show me the BTC price and how much it moved in the last 24 hours and 7 days.”
- “Explain what the Puell Multiple means in simple words.”
- “How did the Heat Score look over the past month?”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat, not files. Usually that is a short summary of the Heat Score, the zone, the BTC price and its changes. If you ask for indicators, you get a list of the ten with their values and their own heat readings. If you ask for history, you get a day by day view going back to 2014, which your AI can describe or turn into a small table.
Before you start
What you need

Good to know
This is a read only helper that shows public market data, and the reading describes the current state against its history, so it is not a forecast or investment advice.
