OctoTrip Rental Cars MCP server

Lets your AI search live rental car prices from many providers worldwide and compare them for you.

This is a free helper that connects your AI assistant to a rental car search service. Once it is connected, you can just ask your AI for a car in plain words and it will look up real prices from many rental companies. It is handy for anyone planning a trip who does not want to open ten different booking sites.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to OctoTrip's rental car search, which pulls live prices from rental providers around the world. So when you ask about a car, your AI can actually go and look it up instead of guessing.

What this MCP server does

You tell your AI where and when you need a car, in normal words. Your AI passes that to this helper, which asks rental providers for their current offers. The helper gathers the cars it finds and groups them by category, like economy or SUV. It shows the cheapest options in each group, with prices, vendor names, and details like transmission and fuel policy. Your AI then reads that back to you in the chat.

What it gives back to you

You get a list of cars grouped by category, with the cheapest two options in each group. For every car you see the name, the rental company, the total price and price per day, plus details like transmission, seats, bags, fuel policy, and whether cancellation is free. Your AI usually turns this into a short summary or a small table right in the chat. It also gives you booking links, which are marked as affiliate links.
