ProfitSpot MCP server

by omniologynow-rgb

Lets your AI look up DeFi yields, pool risks, and profit simulations across many blockchains.

ProfitSpot MCP is a helper that connects your AI assistant to a live DeFi data service called ProfitSpot. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI plain questions about crypto yields, pool risk, and potential losses, and it will fetch real numbers for you. It is handy if you follow crypto investing and want quick answers without opening ten different websites.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to ProfitSpot, a DeFi data service that tracks pools and yields across many blockchains. When you ask a question, your AI passes it to this helper, the helper asks ProfitSpot, and the answer comes back into your chat.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like which pools pay well on Ethereum right now. The AI sends that request to the ProfitSpot helper. The helper looks through thousands of pools and chains, scores each one for risk, and sends back a shortlist. Your AI then explains the results to you in normal words, including the risk grade and recent average yield. For some questions it can also run a profit simulation or work out impermanent loss for you.

What you can do with it

  • Find top yield pools on a chain you choose
  • Filter pools by minimum size, minimum yield, and risk grade
  • Get an A to F risk grade for a pool or a whole protocol
  • Simulate possible profit over time with many random scenarios
  • Calculate impermanent loss for a two-token pool
  • Spot large money moving in or out of pools
  • Get a big-picture view of DeFi across all chains

Try asking your AI

  • “Show me the best yields on Arbitrum with at least 10 million dollars in the pool and a risk grade of B or better”
  • “What is the risk score for the WETH-USDT pool on Uniswap V3?”
  • “If ETH goes up 50 percent and USDC drops 10 percent, how much impermanent loss would I take on a 10,000 dollar position?”
  • “Simulate my profit if I put 5,000 dollars into that pool for one year”

What it gives back to you

You get answers written in your chat, backed by real numbers from ProfitSpot. That can be a ranked list of pools with yields and risk grades, a single risk score with a short explanation, or a table of possible profit outcomes. Some answers include a confidence level and a timestamp showing how fresh the data is. Nothing is changed on your accounts; it only reads and calculates.

Before you start

What you need

  • The Claude desktop app, Cursor, or VS Code with Copilot
  • Python installed on your computer (the helper runs through a tool called uvx)
  • A ProfitSpot Pro API key if you want the paid tools (a kind of password; the free tools need no key)

Good to know

The numbers are estimates and past yields do not guarantee future results, so treat the risk grades and profit simulations as guidance, not financial advice.

Install it with your AI

Add ProfitSpot MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check ProfitSpot MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
