LitVM TCG Oracle MCP server
by sailorpepe
Look up trading card prices, price history and forecasts, with on-chain proof the numbers are real.

This is a helper for your AI that connects it to a large trading card price database. It covers over 455,000 cards across 25+ games like Pokemon, Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh. It is handy if you buy, sell or collect cards and want your AI to check prices and trends for you.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to the LitVM TCG Oracle, a trading card price service. Once it is connected, your AI can look up card prices and other card data for you when you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something about a trading card, like a price or a trend. Your AI sends that request to this helper. The helper talks to the LitVM TCG Oracle, which holds millions of recorded card prices. The oracle sends back the price, the history or a forecast, and your AI shows it to you in the chat. Some answers also come with a digital proof that the price was recorded on a blockchain, so you can check it was not made up.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search for a card by name and see which set it belongs to
- Get the current market price and daily price history for a card
- Ask for a 30-day price forecast with risk bands
- Run a price simulation over a number of days
- Get a proof that a card's price was recorded on a blockchain
- See which cards are trending
- Check the oracle's own accuracy scorecard
Try asking your AI
- “Search for Base Set Charizard and show me the current price”
- “What is the 90 day price history for Black Lotus?”
- “Give me a 30 day forecast for Charizard Base Set Holo”
- “Simulate the price of that card over 60 days”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in plain text in your chat: prices, lists of matching cards, price history over time, forecast ranges and simulation results. Some answers include a proof you could use to check the price on a blockchain. If a card has no price data, you get a clear message saying so instead of a made-up number.
Before you start
What you need
- An AI app that can connect to MCP servers, like Claude Desktop, Cursor or VS Code
- For the hosted version: nothing else, no account or key needed
- For the local version: Python installed on your computer
Good to know
Some price data is frozen or suspended, so treat those numbers as last published rather than today's price, and check the oracle's own accuracy scorecard before trusting any forecast.
