Undesirables TCG Oracle MCP server
by sailorpepe
Lets your AI look up trading card prices, grade cards, and forecast card values for you.

This is a helper for people who collect trading cards and want their AI to do the boring lookups. Once it is connected, you can ask your AI about card prices, whether a card is worth grading, and what a card might be worth in a month. It is handy for collectors, sellers, and anyone who spends too long in spreadsheets of card values.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, in this case a connection to a card price and grading service called the Undesirables TCG Oracle. When you ask a question about a card, your AI passes it to this helper, the helper asks the oracle, and the answer comes back into your chat. You do not need to install anything if you use the hosted web address.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like what a Base Set Charizard is worth or whether a card is worth grading. Your AI sends that request to this helper. The helper talks to the Undesirables oracle, which holds a big catalogue of trading cards and their prices. The oracle sends back the matching cards, prices, or a grading opinion. Your AI shows you the result right in the chat, in plain words.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search for a card by name and see which set it belongs to
- Get a price snapshot for a card or a whole market
- Ask whether a card is worth sending in for grading
- Get a 30-day forecast for a card with a simple letter grade
- See which cards are trending right now
- Check the oracle's public accuracy record
- Get loan terms if you want to borrow against a card
Try asking your AI
- “What is a Base Set Charizard worth right now?”
- “Should I grade my 2019 Pikachu card or sell it raw?”
- “Give me a 30-day forecast for the Umbreon VMAX alt art”
- “What trading cards are trending this week?”
What it gives back to you
You get back short answers, lists of matching cards with prices, and simple letter grades like Safe-Hold or Momentum. Forecasts come with a plain-English read so you know what the numbers mean. If you ask about grading, you get a GO or NO-GO answer with a rough return on investment. Everything shows up in your normal chat window.
Before you start
What you need
- Nothing special if you use the hosted web address
- A funded crypto wallet in USDC only if you want the paid tools (free tools work without one)
Good to know
Some tools are paid and use a crypto wallet to pay per call in USDC, so only connect a wallet you are comfortable spending from, and note that several price tools are currently paused while the USD panel is frozen.
