Hyperliquid MCP server

by sand0vvv

Ask your AI about HYPE yields, HyperEVM protocols, fees, funding and order books in plain English.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “What is the best HYPE yield right now”, the Hyperliquid MCP server connects it to Hyperliquid, and you get back A short answer or clean table.

This is a small helper that lets your AI assistant answer questions about the Hyperliquid and HyperEVM world. You ask in normal words, and it looks up live numbers for you: yields, lending rates, protocol sizes, fees, funding and order book depth. It is handy if you follow crypto yields or want a second opinion before you deposit something.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program you connect once, and it gives your AI a new skill. This one gives your AI a live connection to Hyperliquid and HyperEVM data sources, so it can look up real numbers instead of guessing. You ask a question, your AI asks this helper, and the helper fetches the answer for you.

What this MCP server does

You type a question like what is the best HYPE yield right now. Your AI sends that question to this helper. The helper reads public data from Hyperliquid and DefiLlama, then puts it into a clean table or short answer. Your AI shows you that answer in the chat. It only reads. It cannot move money or change anything.

What you can do with it

  • Compare HYPE yields across staking, lending, LP pools and the HLP vault
  • Check whether a high APY is real earned yield or mostly token emissions
  • See which protocols on HyperEVM are growing and how much fees they take in
  • Look up funding rates and open interest on Hyperliquid perps
  • Check order book depth to see if a large trade would fill
  • Review any public wallet: positions, PnL, balances and staking
  • Rank HYPE validators by APR, commission and uptime

Try asking your AI

  • “what's the best HYPE yield right now”
  • “which HYPE pools are just token emissions and which actually earn”
  • “is BTC funding actually stable, or was that one hour”
  • “could I actually get out of $500k of HYPE”

What it gives back to you

You get back short answers and neat tables right in the chat. For example, a yield table with protocol names, tokens, APY, TVL and a note about emissions. For a wallet, you get positions, entry prices, unrealised PnL and staking balances. If a number is unknown, it shows as n/a instead of a fake zero, and if a refresh fails it tells you the data is old.

Before you start

What you need

  • Node.js 20 or newer on your computer
  • An MCP client like Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor
  • Nothing else. No account, no API key, no sign-up

Good to know

It only reads public data and cannot move money, but the numbers can be delayed or wrong, so do not treat them as financial advice.

Install it with your AI

Add Hyperliquid MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Hyperliquid MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
