Eterna MCP Agent Starter
Compare trading fees and set up an AI trading agent on Eterna, with a safe bridge for live tools.
This is a helper you add to your AI so it can talk about trading on Eterna, a crypto exchange for perpetual futures. It can estimate fees, compare Eterna with other exchanges, and walk you through setup. It is handy if you are curious about AI trading agents but do not want to write code or hand over your main account.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app, and here that app is Eterna. Once it is connected, your AI can look up fee numbers, compare venues, and, if you sign in, use the official Eterna trading tools. You just ask in plain words and the helper does the behind-the-scenes work.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like how much a month of trading would cost. The AI uses this helper, which runs the numbers with Eterna's fee model and also checks Hyperliquid, Bybit and Binance for comparison. It can also hand you a step-by-step setup guide or a ready-made agent prompt with safety rules built in. If you connect an Eterna account, the helper passes your request to the official Eterna tools so the AI can see balances or place trades. You get the answer or the action back in the chat.
What you can do with it
- Estimate your monthly trading fees for a given volume and maker/taker mix
- Compare fees across Eterna, Hyperliquid, Bybit and Binance
- Get a step-by-step setup guide for Claude, the CLI, or a generic MCP client
- Grab a guarded trading-agent prompt with a 1% risk cap and stop-loss rules
- Check whether the live Eterna bridge is active and how to sign in
- Use the official Eterna tools when you have signed in
Try asking your AI
- “Estimate my monthly fees if I trade 5 million dollars with a 60/40 maker taker split on Eterna”
- “Compare Eterna, Hyperliquid, Bybit and Binance fees for 2 million dollars a month”
- “Give me the setup guide for using Eterna with Claude”
- “Show me a safe trading agent prompt I can paste into Claude”
What it gives back to you
You get plain answers in the chat: fee numbers, a side-by-side comparison table, a numbered setup guide, or a ready-to-paste prompt. When the live bridge is on, you can also see balances, positions and trade confirmations. Everything shows up as normal chat text, so you can copy it or ask follow-up questions.
Before you start
What you need
- The Claude desktop app or another MCP-capable AI client
- Node.js installed on your computer (the helper runs through npx)
- An Eterna account only if you want the live trading tools; the fee and guide tools work without one
Good to know
Perpetual futures with leverage can lose money fast, so start with Needs Approval on and only fund the sub-account with what the strategy needs; the agent can trade but cannot withdraw your funds.
Install it with your AI
Add Eterna MCP Agent Starter to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Eterna MCP Agent Starter, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,609 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People curious about AI trading agents, crypto traders comparing fees, and anyone who wants a guided, low-risk way to try an exchange through their AI.
