What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to Tapetide, which keeps live data on about 8,200 NSE and BSE stocks. So when you ask about a company or the market, the AI can go look it up through this helper and answer with real figures.
