MoltNode MCP server
by tuantqse90
Read 31 blockchains and get swap quotes your AI can hand to your own wallet.
MoltNode is a hosted helper that lets your AI read blockchains and ask for token swap quotes. It is made for people who want to check balances, look up blocks or get a swap ready without opening a dozen different sites. You do not need an account or a key to start.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to MoltNode and Chord, two services that talk to blockchains. Once it is added, you can ask your AI in normal words and it will look things up or prepare a transaction for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like what is the balance of this wallet on Base. The AI sends that request to this MCP server, which passes it to MoltNode. MoltNode talks to the chain and sends the answer back. For swaps, the AI asks Chord for the best route, and Chord returns an unsigned transaction plus a simulation. Your AI shows you the result in the chat, and nothing is signed or sent unless you or your own wallet do it.
What you can do with it
- Check the native coin balance of any address on an EVM chain
- Look up the latest block number on a chain
- Run any JSON-RPC call on 31 supported chains
- Find a token address and decimals by symbol or name
- Get the best swap route across a chain's DEXs with an unsigned transaction
- See a simulation of the swap from your own wallet before signing
- Broadcast a transaction you have already signed
Try asking your AI
- “What is the ETH balance of 0xabc... on Base?”
- “Find the token address and decimals for USDC on Arbitrum.”
- “Get me a swap quote for 10 USDC to AERO on Base, taker is my wallet 0x123...”
- “What is the latest block number on Ethereum?”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in plain text inside the chat. Balances and block numbers come back as numbers. Token lookups come back as an address, decimals and a verified flag. Swap quotes come back as a route, an unsigned transaction, any approval needed and a simulation result.
Before you start
What you need
- An AI client that can add a remote MCP server by URL, such as Claude Desktop, Cursor or Claude Code
- A wallet address and its own signing key if you plan to sign and send transactions yourself
Good to know
The swap tool prepares and simulates transactions but never holds your keys, so you are the one who signs and sends anything that moves funds.
Install it with your AI
Add MoltNode MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check MoltNode MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,609 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who want to check chains or prepare token swaps from their AI chat, especially crypto users and analysts who are comfortable with wallets but not with writing code.
