Hatchable MCP server
by Woobox · official
Let your AI build and publish a working web app for you, with a live link, database and login.

Hatchable is a service that builds and hosts websites and web apps for you. This MCP server connects your AI assistant to Hatchable, so you can describe an app in plain words and get a live web address back. It is handy for anyone who has an idea for a small site or tool but does not want to set up servers or code from scratch.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to Hatchable, so the AI can create projects, write files, set up a database and publish a site on your behalf. You just ask, and the helper does the work on Hatchable's side.
What this MCP server does
You tell your AI what you want, for example a simple page that collects email signups. The AI uses this helper to create a project on Hatchable, write the files it needs, set up a database if required, and deploy it. Hatchable runs the code on its own computers, so nothing is installed on yours. When it is done, you get a live web address you can open and share.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Create a new Hatchable project from a plain-language description
- Write and edit the files that make up your app
- Set up and query a database for your project
- Deploy your app and get a live URL
- Read logs to see what went wrong when something breaks
- Import an existing folder of files as a project
- Fork a template project as a starting point
Try asking your AI
- “Build me a small site where people can sign up for my newsletter and see a thank-you page”
- “Create a page that shows a list of my favourite books, with a form to add new ones”
- “Deploy this folder as a Hatchable project and give me the live link”
- “My app is showing an error, can you check the logs and fix it”
What it gives back to you
You get back plain answers in the chat, like the live web address of your new site, a list of your projects, or a summary of what changed. If you ask about errors, the AI can read the logs and tell you what it found. When it edits files or runs database commands, it reports what it did so you can follow along.
Before you start
What you need
- A Hatchable account (free to create, no credit card)
- An MCP client that supports web connections, like Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor
- For Cursor and similar tools, an API key from your Hatchable console settings
Good to know
This can create, change and publish real websites and databases on your Hatchable account, so check what your AI is about to do before you say yes.
Install it with your AI
Add Hatchable MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Hatchable MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People with a small app or site idea who want to build it without setting up servers, and teams who want their AI assistant to handle the whole build and publish step.
